"I am from Birmingham, Alabama and, I really love 3D animation; particularly 3D character animation. While I have been drawing since I was a kid, my love for 3D animation came much later in life. It began when I watched the Pixar movie "Cars", as well as the Geico Gekko commercials; it was at that time when I knew it was something I wanted to do professionally. To get my feet wet, I started practicing with 3D software such as Blender for about 1 year, then I began practicing using Autodesk Maya, which is the same industry standard 3D software that is used in some of our favorite sci movies such as Marvel’s Avengers, Ready Player One, Transformers, and Black Panther to name a few. I made the decision to further pursue my passion for learning animation by enrolling at The Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California, and in 2020 I graduated with a degree in Animation and Visual Effects.

After graduation, I decided to take my animation skills to the next level by creating my own animation projects as well as learning new software and animation techniques that was not taught to me in school at the time. On my own, I learned how to re-target and cleanup motion capture data to 3D models in Autodesk Motion Builder, as well as learning the process of how to export the 3D models with animation data to hyper realistic environments I created using Unreal Engine 5.

My ultimate goal is to someday be a creative director at a major animation or video game studio on a major project. I also want to continue to be a mentor and educate those who are interested in learning more about animation, in the same way people poured into my life when I was just getting started."
