We have a special treat for you. Join us for Behind The Tech Scenes, a chance for Black techies to share their stories and insights about having a career in technical and tech-adjacent roles.

The event will take place on October 19, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Shuttlesworth room in the Forge coworking space.

We'll kick off the Behind the Tech Scenes speaker series with Dock Scott. Dock is a talented UX Designer at a FAANG company!

He will share his tech journey and talk about what happens after you get your first tech job. His hope is that you will leave feeling validated, gain career confidence, and begin planning your "post-breakthrough" strategy.

We will have food & drinks available thanks to Trend Micro!

Here's more info about Dock: "I am a designer at a major FAANG (or MAANG, whatever) company. I design for both visual and voice interfaces. I have a slight obsession with strategy, visual identities, and my outfits. I have been in my current role for about a year now, but I have been on my tech journey for much, much longer."
